No rain yet for 2026 and December's 0.09 inch. My soil is very dry, although my cats love to roll in the dirt and dust. My wife calls them "filthy animals" from the scene "Home Alone." We get lots laughs from these cats. Anyway, most plants and trees are dormant now. Birds and wildlife (read squirrels) are daily visitors to our feeders and water. Area lakes are still falling very slowly but our water sources are not in trouble yet.
