The past week was mostly dry with some light rain showers on and off at the end of the week. Temperatures were mostly above normal with a high on Friday morning of 64 degrees. Quite balmy for this time of year in SW Ohio. Trees and bushes are still in their dormant phase. Small mammals were actively searching for food during the week, perhaps encouraged by the above normal temperatures. Birds continued to search for seeds, nuts and whatever insects that were active in the past week.
