The Drought Monitor was updated to "Abnormally Dry" this week, but it's hard to see from local observation. We got some amount of precipitation on 9 out of the 11 days so far in January. The total is only .89" but the soil is moist and and there's lots of puddles on the local trails. We're still at 99% of PRISM normal for the water year.
After a few warm and wet days all of the snow is gone.
