Biggest change is to the pond: it’s only half-iced over, so diving ducks are active again, and more importantly this past week has seen winter bog flood activity so the pond was drawn down an estimated 10”. Terrestrial birds are busy at the feeders, and two large and very healthy looking coyotes are cruising the neighborhood at dusk.
