My January total so far is 0.95" compared to the normal of 1.20", keeping this location still on the dry side.  But of 11 days, I have seen snow on 6 of those days and rain on 2 others.  The last days have been rain and snow pack is down to only 2.5". Skied twice last week and conditions were very good, but this rain will not help. I think snowmobiling is mostly closed, especially after the past few warm rainy days. Ice sports have been busy but if the warm continues that will also be affected. The Connecticut River has been fully frozen but not sure it would be safe to venture onto.  Birds come and go at the feeder but no crowds or different birds than the handful of regulars.
