Another week of just missing the predicted rain...showers all passed east of us, and we continue dry -- and hot this week, though this morning is more like winter. Fire danger is high and burn bans are in place. Trees are bare now, and gardens need watering to encourage cool-weather crops (my broccoli is doing well!) On the other hand, it is getting boring to keep waiting without results for fronts to reach us!
