We had about 18 hours of light to occasionally moderate rain followed by several nights of fog. Even though it rained for hours, the total accumulation was less than 0.80 inches. Wildfires are decreasing but that may be due to fewer people having time to do activities that can start fires. New Year's fireworks were sparse. Water levels have not risen since the rain was so light. Most people are not concerned right now with drought, they are trying to stay warm im the cold snaps. The plants are beginning to go bonkers. Jonquils are blooming, and my redbud tree is already beginning to bloom.
