Another week with no precipitation. December had 0.28" of precipitation. November had 0.52" of precipitation. No Precipitation in January so far. Soil is dry. No snow cover. Record high temperatures yesterday. Low creek flow and pond height. Shrubs may be under stress due to dry soil and winter desiccation. Only source of water in the yard is the birdbath. Lots of finches, woodpeckers, doves and robins.
