Weekly precipitation was a Trace. This makes two weeks in a row with no measurable precipitation. That is a rare occurrence in this area in the winter. As a result, we have dry fields and turn roads right now that are usually a sea of mud this time of year. No issues with the dry conditions right now, because everything is dormant and the need for moisture is low. Here were the lows this past week each day: 61,30,25,27,35,44,38. The highs: 76,38,41,58,69,60,46. Except for the lack of rain, the weather has been fairly normal with 2 separate cold fronts during the week. The air warms nicely on a South wind and then is drastically chilled with the switch to a Northerly wind etc. No leaves to speak of on any trees anymore. We are dead of winter dormant now and ready for our bout of winter weather (freezing rain, snow, sleet) just something interesting please. So far, winter has been marked by tranquil weather. "Moderately dry" conditions continue.
