We received .35 inches of rain this week. Although we haven't had any measurable precipitation for the month or year {it's Jan fourth} we are still in the normal range for the water year. Our creeks, ponds and streams are flowing normal, even the rain fed pond is full. Wet weather springs are flowing well. The duff under the timber has plenty of moisture yet. My turned and bare gardens are heavy. Deer are still plentiful, seeing and hearing turkey and squirrel looking for food every day. Plenty of birds at the feeders. Cattle look good. We are thankful.
