This drought is becoming pretty scary! Between the lack of moisture and the constant huge winds we keep having, the air is so full pf particulates that my husband and I are constantly sneezing and sniveling from terrible dust and allergies to it all. I’ve had to do deep watering for the second time in a month to keep gardens alive. We continue to worry about fire danger put here I our desaicated grassland area, and at time I wonder whether we should remove the shelterbelt of junipers that are only about 30’ from our house and now overtopping the roof height! Ski areas are crying for lack of snow in much of Colorado. Not sure yet whether yesterday’s mountain snowstorm amounted to much.
