We have not had any rain since before Thanksgiving - 33 days in a row - and are under a 90-day burn ban as of 12/22/25. Plants are dormant so it is difficult to tell what is due to dry conditions and what is due to winter but the country side is mostly brown now. The USGS reports the Llano River at Hwy 87 is flowing at 88 cfs vs the 53-year median of 152 cfs. Agricultural activity has mostly stopped for the winter.
