Station Name: El Dorado 1.2 S
Report Date: 12/27/2025
Submitted: 12/27/2025 3:32 PM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
December looks to end very dry, but we do have a slight chance of thunderstorms early tomorrow. As it stands, we've only received .02 liquid this month and that was December 1 from a dusting of snow. For the year we've received 44.78" where normal rainfall is 37.82. Unusually mild last 2-3 days. Have seen more birds and two flocks (one Canadian geese) were heading the wrong direction, to the northwest. Squirrel activity has ramped up some and had a rare racoon sighting earlier this week. Also have seen some flies. Creek is full. Still haven't seen any cracks in bare soil, (Update 3:26PM CST- Just pulled up my staked holiday lights from the yard and the stakes had damp soil stuck to them starting about an inch down. That explains why I haven't seen any cracks in the soil. I'm surprised, being that the last significant rainfall we've had was on November 29 with .25" received. Near normal for sure).
