Though we had 5.5 inches of snow (after no moisture since 9-23), it is very dry here.  That was evidenced by the intense winds yesterday - like a Sahara dust storm.  Power company that supplies parts of the Front Range (not in Longmont where lines are buried) shut off power twice this past week due to the winds and chance of wildfires.
