Conditions are not typical of recent years -- it's full-on winter out there! All precipitation has been frozen (mostly snow) for weeks now, and we've had consistent snow cover for weeks. There has been almost no melting. Precipitation is low at 0.36" over the past seven days, but with plants dormant and the ground long-since frozen, that's not too big a problem. Watercxourses are partly open with apparently normal levels. Ski areas seem happy with some having opened early, and with consistently cold temps, snowmaking must be going very well. Snowpack measures at 8.2" with SWE of 1.62".
