There was a little bit of everything this week.  Had a little rain, some warmer temps to melt off the snowpack and more snow to replenish what had melted.  Contrary to what I stated last week, the ground had not frozen so the snowpack that melted did soak in fortunately.  We are starting the week off with subzero temps this morning with a bit of a nippy windchill, but the forecast is calling for warmer temps by the end of the week which should help melt off the snow and hopefully more moisture will make it into the soil.  Area rivers remain low with some ice coverage.
