We had only a trace of rain this week and the two week total is 0.07”. Conditions are still normal for this time of year. Temperatures have been average with highs in the 40s and 50s most of the week but it was well above normal on Friday when the high was in the upper 60s. Soil moisture and water body levels seem to be as expected. Plant/crop growth is good with the average weather for this time of year. Annual ryegrass is growing now in many local pastures and I still have some cool season plants producing in my garden which is unusual. Ranchers are feeding some hay but not a lot. There is low/medium fire danger that is increasing, especially on windy days.
