Station Name: Clarksdale 2.9 SW
Report Date: 12/14/2025
Submitted: 12/14/2025 7:02 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Weekly precipitation was 0.07 inches. All the weekly reported rain came last Sunday (Dec 7th, 2025) in a fine mist during the day that turned into a very light rain after dark for a couple hours. Cloudy Monday. Cloudy Tuesday for half the day then some sunshine on the last half. Mostly sunny Wednesday with a big warm up. Sunny to mostly sunny Thursday and Friday with a very mild and nice afternoon on Friday that actually sent me seeking shade a few times while working outdoors. Cooler yesterday (Sat. Dec. 13, 2025) with sunny conditions becoming cloudy with the approach of an arctic air mass in the afternoon. We have dried pretty well again on the surface. We are below normal for the month, year, and water year right now (55%,92% and 81% of normal for those 3-time frames respectively). Winter rains have not been excessive as of yet. More leaves are tumbling down each day with a few trees in the yard reaching peak color this past week. Here were the lows for each day last week starting with last Sunday:38,36,35,40,36,39,36 (normal is 35). The highs:50,45,43,60,52,65,56 (normal is 53). Overall, things are a little on the dry side with normal weather conditions for the time of year.
