Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: FL-SW-1
Station Name: Live Oak 0.4 NE
Report Date: 12/14/2025
Submitted: 12/13/2025 11:23 PM
Scale Bar: Severely Dry
Description:
Though we had an appreciable amount of soaking rain recently, it has only made the severely dry just a bit less severe. The ground is still cracking. Bodies of water are still quite low, or vanished completely.Oeople are posting videos of how far the rivers are from boat ramps now, or how the rocks in the shoals in the Suwannee River at Big Shoals look like dry dragon teeth instead of the class 4 rapids they usually are. Air quality alerts are being issued for this area as the rain is not here to wash the air clean. This is a risk for public health & tourism. Wildfires are common.
