Description:
For week of 7-13 Dec: (SWE: 1.0+ 0.6+ 1.0+ 0+ T+ T+ T)= 2.6mm +T. Near Normal. High's: -4C to +8C, wch to -10C; Low's: +7C to -11C; Wind: V, calm to gusts to 30km/hr; Frost: 0. This past week had very light snow, flurries, slight to light wind. Some days were mild, high +8C, while others were cold, high of -4C with a wch of -10C. It was more cold and grey. There was one day of patchy sun. The inlet is partially frozen. No wildlife sightings. Very quiet. With much shorter days, XMas lights are lighting up the dark hours. It helps when driving. People-wise, many are masked up. Covid/flu shots are still available. And XMas is but a couple of weeks away. Stores and shops are busy. And Peggy's Cove Rd is much quieter with the road work very near done. Still road lines to do. Difficult to see the road edges in the dark.
