With .72" observed at this station, conditions appear to be near normal. Snow has been frequent, with light snow and some heavier events. All snow that has fallen is present, with no significant melting. Birds and other outdoor animals are foraging and finding water whenever the temperatures permit. Outdoor chores have shortened to what has to be done, with bigger projects and outdoor recreation waiting until warmer days. Glad to have snow cover despite being too cold to be out enjoying it.
