Every day this past week has had some form of Snow, and you can really tell because it’s piled up to 2.1”!. Two of those days included just a trace. Mostly it has caused some havoc on the roadways, which you would think here in MN drivers would know how to deal with. The Snowpack since late Nov has been as high as 6.5”. We had our first subzero temperature along with chilly mornings allowing smaller lakes to completely form a thin layer of ice and very little snowmelt. I suspect we’ll have a white Christmas. Thers have been several minor structure fires scattered around the area I suspect were heating issues, though I’m not aware of reported causes. Forecast: A couple days of light Snow Showers early, followed by Mostly Cloudy skies. Temps ranging from low 20’s, dipping to the teens and single digits below zero throughout the week. Moderate Winds.
