The past week was a continuation wintery conditions that started before Thanksgiving, where we've had 4 days of precipitation totaling 0.49", all of which fell as 6.2" of snow. We have had a continous snowpack since 11/27/2025 and this week it has ranged from 7.5" to 10". We had below seasonal average temperatures all week, possibly breaking a record low with 4(F) on Friday morning. Conditions this week have been Near Normal (for winter). Birds are showing up at the bird feeder every day and waterfowl have been on the move. Many schools and activities throughout Western Michigan have been canceled during the week due to heavy snowfall or very icy roads. There have been many weather-related traffic accidents.
