Our wintery pattern from the previous week continued throughout this week with regular snow, freezing temperatures, and only fleeting thaws during the day. Temperatures over Thursday night and into early Friday morning dipped to 6 degrees but the 20s have been more characteristic. The ground remains at a 100% snowpack where intervention has not occurred. Winter recreation is still good. Most area schools were cancelled on Monday and some had a late start on Tuesday. Snowplows have been busy. The gauge catch recorded 0.58 inches of precipitation, nearly all in the form of snow. The snowboard captured 0.7 inches of SWE and a total of 5.5 inches of snow, mostly dispersed throughout the week. Overall, conditions are moderately wet.
