Showers in the afternoon and overnight in the lower elevations, snow in higher elevations. Overall precip. amounts in November have been less than 50% of normal. Grass is still green and growing in places. Some plants in the garden are still green. Geraniums have small blooms in a few places. Petunias are green. Dracaena looks good. Cooper's hawk was in the leafless maple next door yesterday morning, looking for a meal at the bird feeder. Dove, junco, and finch at the feeder area. Anna's hummingbirds at their feeders. Trees and shrubs are nearly all leafless at this point. Overall-- overcast to partly sunny, cool, damp, and variable winds with a litle rain-- November.
