Description:
The past week has been marked by high winds and the return of winter after Tuesday, where we've had 5 days of precipitation totaling 1.88" falling in the form of rain and 16.6" of snow! As of this morning our snowpack on the ground has reached a maximum of 11.0". After Tuesday we had below seasonal average temperatures. Conditions this week have been Mildly Wet, bringing our November Monthly total precipitation to 2.84" (only 4% below the PRISM November monthly average of 2.97") and a November total of 22.0" of snow! Birds are showing up in greater numbers at the bird feeder every day. Many Churches and activities throughout Western Michigan are canceled this morning due to heavy snowfall.
