Lake continues to rise, up another 1” this week, and up a full 10” since its lowest level as measured at the beginning of October. Mild above seasonal weather has resulted in light skims of ice on the lakes in the morning, are gone by mid-afternoon, so lakes continue to be open. Ditches continue to hold water, and are frozen. Open ground is frozen, but forest trails, insulated by leaves, remain soft and damp. Forest fire hazard continues to be rated as low. Reports of bear activity have quieted.
