Without watering, we would have nothing growing in our vegetable garden. What little dew we are getting is helping the pasture, however the wind soon carries it away. The cattle on our property is having to be fed every three days.  It's frustrating having to use the winter hay for drought feeding. Our ponds continue to shrink. They had looked so much better this spring and now they seem to be even lower as before. Burn bans are in effect for multiple counties, including Grimes. Several fires have occurred. Thankfully, they were quickly contained.
