Drove by another large wetland with a huge beaver house in the middle of it, that is now down to mud, no standing water at all. Lakes and streams are low, deciduous trees looked stressed before the leaves fell, but pines look ok. We have had no rain to speak of this month, and temps in all months, especially fall, are up sharply in the last 2 years.
