General awareness: We're down over our 4-year average for moisture, as well as our 26 year average for snowfall. We expect 11" of snow in November, but have had none yet. We expect 1.29" (sd = 1.6") of liquid, and have only received .73. We are actually up for the water year. We expect 2.82" (4 year average) and have received 3.56" thanks to October.
Agriculture: The winter wheat looks good. We always hold our breath for snow pack.
Energy: Saturday was partly cloudy and we produced 12.92 kWHR and used 30.94 kWHR, so we're using more than we produce. Friday we produced more than we used.
Fire: Pretty low risk. People are burning their slash piles.
Plants/wildlife: Saw a couple of ducks on the Buckskin pond, as well as a moose!
Water: Again, hopeful for the water year.
