Station Name: Clarksdale 2.9 SW
Report Date: 11/23/2025
Submitted: 11/23/2025 6:56 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Weekly precipitation was 0.29 inches. A warm and humid week of weather with both clouds and sun. Thursday brought all of the reported rainfall in a brief but heavy line of showers that moved over in the mid-morning time frame. Here were the lows each day:55,56,60,62,63,64,58. Highs:76,73,80,82,72,76,70. Tree color intensified quickly this past week as we have reached our peak time for color. Leaves are falling rapidly now. Ground conditions are firm and rather dry for the time of year. We have once again been in the field spraying and rowing up this past week. Finished up pecan harvest in record time as well this past week. The dry weather was the main contributor to picking them up so quickly. The soil needs to recharge its moisture at depth now. We don't want drought to start the next growing season.
