I measured over 2.5 inches of rain during a large thunderstorm this week which brought us to near-normal conditions. The drought condition is unchanged from last week but that data was collected before the Thursday-Friday storm. The Llano River at Hwy 87 saw a major surge, going from 64 cfs the afternoon of 11/20 to 13000 cfs the morning of 11/21. The USGS reports this morning (11/22) that it is flowing at 11900 cfs vs the 53-year median of 157 cfs. That is the all time high for this date. The county burn ban from 8/25 was lifted on 11/20.
