A reminder of how site-specific rainfall can be: we were in a small corridor with less than a tenth of an inch while the wider county got 0.50 and more, and some areas west much more this week. We probably got out of extreme fire danger, and gardens fared pretty well with only light watering. The storm also brought down a lot more leaves, as dormancy sets in. Forecasts include more rain ahead,  so maybe we will get  more this week!
