Small amounts of rain this week has helped to keep our drought from getting worse. With all the leaves on on the ground and with low humidly readings  the chance for fire has increased. Everyone is being careful. The recent cold spell motivated one local ski business to open. Lets hope we receive enough cold for the others to open their slopes.
