Several small amounts of rain fell in the past week and the color of the lawn remains light green (and has been cut for the last time in 2025). All annuals have been uprooted and all perennials cut back. Almost no leaves are still on our trees save for the Cleveland pears in the parkway and the venerable Albion white oak in the northwest corner of the backyard. Among our shrubs, privets still retain their small leaves as do the forsythias.
