Description:
Week started very cold, warmed up with two record max temperature days and back to seasonal at the end of the week. No precipitation. 
(11 NOV to 17 NOV) 

Precipitation for the period was Trace. -0.56” for the period. 
Cal yr 38.45” +2.44” above annual seasonal normal. 
Snow: 0.0”. 0.0” for the period. 
Snow Season: 0.5”. +0.2” above for the season.

Frost Depth under sod: 0”
Frost Depth under bare ground: 0”

Temperatures averaged 43.1 degrees, +3.4 above normal for the period.  

Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 42.6 degrees, 4” average is 42.6 degrees, 8” average is 44.4 degrees and 20” average is 48.1 degrees. -2.5 overall decrease, on average, from the previous period. 

Soil Moisture for the period at 4” averaged 0.37 bar – Normal, and at 8” averaged 0.24 bar – Normal.

Mixed week with very cold to extreme warm which averaged out to +3.4 for the week.  
The birds continue frequenting the bird feeder and water bath with the addition of red finches and chickadees. Squirrels are out daily.  Lawns are going dormant.
What leaves that remained fell with the very cold temperatures. Most trees are now bare and color season is over.
