Slightly dry soil but typical dryness for this time of year. Ponds and lake Ponca have fallen some. Kaw is still 2ft high. Trees have hit peak color and are  rapidly shedding leaves.   Most plants and hay fields are now dormant thus increasing the fire danger. Wheat fields that have been planted early look good.
