No significant rain again this week.  Local rivers and streams are still well below normal levels.  Local fields are very dry.  The ground is very dry and hard.  All of the soybeans and most of the corn have been harvested.  Local construction projects appear to be at near normal schedules with no rain delays and the cool temperatures.  All of our trees have dropped their leaves.  I raked the last of them today and mowed for the final time of the year. We were under an Elevated Fire Danger today due to the dry conditions, low humidity, and fuel on the ground (dried leaves and grass).
