Since the last report nearly three weeks ago, rainfall here has amounted to 3.16 inches, leaving conditions still near normal. Fire danger is moderate, and reservoir level near this site remains good. Animal activity has decreased in some categories with colder weather (as low as 23 yesterday morning). The one remaining plant that was producing – lettuce – in our garden has become shriveled with no longer harvestable leaves. Lawns in this neighborhood remain mostly green, with no ponding in low-lying parts of a nearby field.
Business at local retail stores remains brisk.
