Streams 1-3 feet wide, some flow but levels still well below the usual.
Streams 3-5 feet wide, good flow but levels still below the usual.
Streams >5 feet wide, good flow but levels still below the usual.
Ponds <1 ac., basically large puddles
Ponds 1-3 ac. some water but still below the usual for this time of year.
Ponds >3 ac. levels 1-2 feet below the usual for this time of year.

Maine Forest Service reports Fire Danger as LOW for our area. Fields are now damp enough that a tractor left tracks yesterday. The woods with all the leaves on the ground are damp and slippery.

Have not heard of any more wells in town going dry -- good news. We are still capturing rainwater for non-potable uses.

Turkeys everywhere and deer are common sight. No black bears reported in the neighborhood thankfully!
