Not a lot of changes in the past couple of weeks. October ended with precip 46 percent of normal. November isn't doing much better, currently 32 percent of normal. River is low, and pond has dropped as well. The photos below are of the north end of Homer Lake. Normally there is about 6-10 inches of water in these sections. I have never seen the lake this low in my 23 years here, even during the 2012 drought. If this were the growing season the category would certainly be severely dry. We sometimes can have wet Novembers here. Looks like a pattern change will bring some rain this week. We'll see how much.
