Station Number: NH-MR-9
Station Name: Concord 3.8 SSE
Report Date: 11/16/2025
Submitted: 11/16/2025 7:53 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Wet
Description:
The big rain and snow storm went off to sea by 6:45 AM today. Temperature around 36 degrees. Grass still green. Yesterday was sunny so we chopped up some dead branches on some bushes. Entirely different today. Gray. No sign of sun.
Mint still growing. That’s the extent of our agriculture in our yard.
Heat pump used during day when temperatures above 35 degrees. Furnace takes over with the colder temperatures. Not using dehumidifier anymore. Mila air cleaners quite active when cooking and early morning. Not sure what’s in the air to affect our sinuses, but probably dust.
Birds that we’ve seen include one Cardinal pair, a lot of Pigeons, a few Sparrows, Chickadees, Blue Jays, and the smaller Downy Woodpeckers. Also, have a Nuthatch on the suet. Saw mostly squirrels this past week.
No water restrictions or poor water quality. Not sure about Public health.
Due to the frequent snow storms up north in the mountains giving 3-6” with each storm, at least one ski area has one ski run open.
Merrimack River still just around 3.49 feet, 2.69 kcfs @ 6:15 AM today.
