Weekly precipitation was 0.00 inches. Weekly lows: 37,27,27,43,44,55,60. Highs: 63,41,58,71,78,78,80. A dry past week with lots of sunshine. We began with cold air and ended with warm air. At or below freezing for around 12 hours Monday evening into Tuesday morning (most everything is brown now). Warming very rapidly from below average to above average temperatures this week (avg lo/hi for Nov is 42/63). We are at or near peak color for our trees in this area and there are some beautiful blocks of woods in areas. Some trees are already bare, and some have brown leaves due to the freezing weather. Very busy this past week. We have been in the field since Tuesday - chisel plowing, spraying, rowing up, harrowing, and running drainage trenches. We are also in the middle of pecan harvest. The dry conditions are allowing us to get more field work done than we thought we would be able to this fall. The ground is moist but firm with cracks still visible in heavy clay ground. We have seen no precipitation for the Month so far. I would say we are between mildly and moderately dry right now.
