Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CT-NL-76
Station Name: Uncasville 2.4 NNW
Report Date: 11/16/2025
Submitted: 11/16/2025 7:23 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
We’re mostly back up to normal after the drought. The stream near the station is back up, and the lawn looks about normal for mid-November. The birdfeeder has been set out and the birds, mostly tufted titmice and downy woodpeckers, are enjoying it. The squirrels are also enjoying it. The garden is done for the winter but has yet to be cleaned. The jack-o’-lanterns have been removed after a squirrel tried to eat them but the uncarved ones are fine. The squirrels are everywhere this year and are burying nuts. Almost all of the leaves are down and the forest looks more like winter than fall now, even if the temperature is still higher. We had our first flurries this week on Tuesday, no accumulation.
