The soil is dry and dusty due to no rain in the last 3 weeks  and due to abnormal warmth.
Most plants are brown due to dry conditions and going dormant for the season, but many trees still have leaves - very late this year.
Our water supply is adequate.  
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected.
