Partly sunny and cold with gusty winds, then mostly cloudy and cold overnight with calm winds. The high temperature was around forty two degrees and the low around thirty degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every 2 to 3 days. Only a few of the leaves still have color, mainly Oaks and Sugar Maples. 60%-70% of leaves have fallen, some woods are bare. Canadian Geese have flocks of 100-200 birds. Small flocks of sparrows are still around. The nearby trout stream is flowing but low. Intermittent streams are beginning to flow. 1/4 of the corn fields are uncut.
