I recorded 6.9mm of rain during the last week (highest amt. was 5.0mm on the 8th) and a total of 6.4mm of snow yesterday and today, which yielded 6.3mm of SWE. Wavering between choosing Mildly Dry and Near Normal; will be conservative and stick with Mildly Dry though not by much.

Corn harvest continues and some fields are being disked.

Recorded the first frost of the season, -2C,  this morning (the 10th). So my frost free season was April 17 - November 10, or 208 days.

Picked a few more peppers, and a number of green tomatoes which are sitting on windowsills hoping they ripen.

Began feeding songbirds in earnest this week, and plugged in the bird bath yesterday.
