Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: NC-CH-68
Station Name: Fearrington 1.4 SW
Report Date: 11/10/2025
Submitted: 11/10/2025 1:37 PM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
We had very little precipitation this past week and the soil is quite dry just an inch or so below the surface. Yesterday seemed to be the peak leaf falling day. Even with very little wind blowing the air was full of leaves. It even smelled like fall. Most of the late season flowers have now disappeared. The white tailed deer have gotten even more visible and are seen every day on our walks. We have heard coyotes howling at night and our game camera has caught several during their nightly prowling around. There is a small flow of clear water in the stream and the pond is full.
