Description:
First measurable snow of season with seasonal temperatures, and little rain with tree color past peak and rapidly dropping leaves, some bare trees.
(04 NOV to 10 NOV) 

Precipitation for the period was 0.18”. -0.24” for the period. 
Cal yr 38.45” +2.94” above annual seasonal normal. 

Snow: 0.5”. -0.2” for the period (first of season 2 weeks early from average)

Evaporation was 0.42” for a water balance for the period of -0.24” – Last report of season.
2025 Final Season Water Balance 25 APR to 08 NOV is +6.99”

Temperatures averaged 43.6 degrees, +0.6 above normal for the period.  

Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 43.7 degrees, 4” average is 45.1 degrees, 8” average is 47.6 degrees and 20” average is 51.3 degrees. -1.8 overall decrease, on average, from the previous period. 

Soil Moisture for the period at 4” averaged 0.28 bar – Normal, and at 8” averaged 0.18 bar – Normal.

Seasonal temperatures the past week with very cold temperatures end of the period (-13 degrees).  

The birds continue frequenting the bird feeder and water bath with the addition of red finches and chickadees. Squirrels are out along with the chipmunks.  Lawns are starting to go dormant, last mowing took place.

Trees and bushes are past peak and dropping leaves which is about 1 to 2 weeks early at this location.
