Temps rising to near 60F and only .45" rain this week kept tourists and locals out and about. Strong gusty winds have blanketed the ground with leaves, tho some color remains - partiularly oaks and vivid red shrubs. Two frosts so far, but my grass is still growing, my stella d'oro lily has a hardy blossom and I'm still picking raspberries! Squirrels scamper everywhere, burying nuts.
